I did some tests to see what works for my small one man setup.īottom line: XLR is fine, stereo line in is fine when feed with a good preamp, Mics in/on camera suffer from the fan noise (no surprise), 3.5mm Mic is low, usable with some Mics (and NR). One reason for the clean signal in that config might be the lavalier I used - it's the same manufacturer as the ohrwurmaudio-binaural mics, which provide a hot signal.
